Flower Mound's Clinical Massage Specialist — Real Relief for Chronic Pain, Muscle Dysfunction, and Athletic Recovery
If you've tried massage before and didn't get lasting results, the difference is in the assessment.
This Is Not a Typical Massage

At Hands On Therapeutic Massage, every session begins before you ever get on the table.

When you arrive, Damien greets you personally and takes the time to understand exactly what's bringing you in. For pain and movement issues, he conducts both a visual and physical assessment — observing how your body compensates, identifying which muscle groups have become exhausted and restricted, and locating the actual source of your discomfort rather than just the place where it hurts.

Once the assessment is complete, Damien explains what he's found and walks you through his plan of approach before the session begins. You'll understand what's happening in your body and why — often for the first time.

That's the difference between a massage and a solution.
The Unwinding Process

Using trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, and pin-and-stretch techniques, Damien systematically unwinds the layers of tension that are driving your pain and limiting your movement. He works from the outside in — releasing the surrounding muscle groups that have been overworking to compensate, until he reaches the original source of the problem.

Clients frequently describe techniques they've never experienced before. That's intentional. Damien has spent 15 years developing a clinical approach that goes beyond what most massage therapists are trained to do.
Who This Is For

Hands On Therapeutic Massage is the right fit if you're dealing with:

Neck pain or limited neck rotation — Upper back, shoulder pain, or restricted shoulder mobility — Mid and lower back pain — Herniated or bulging discs — Sciatica — Hip pain — Knee pain — Ankle and foot pain — Limited range of motion that hasn't fully resolved after physical therapy.

Athletes trust Damien for performance recovery, injury prevention, and maintaining the mobility their training demands. Whether you compete or simply want to move and feel better, the assessment-driven approach delivers results that general massage can't.
What to Expect — Your First Visit

You'll be greeted at the door and guided to a private suite. Before your session begins, you'll complete a brief intake form so Damien can document your history, track your progress, and build a file specific to you. There are no rushed assessments and no one-size-fits-all approach. Damien takes the time to listen, observe, and physically assess before recommending anything.

After your session, you'll know exactly what was found, what was treated, and what the path forward looks like. Most clients leave with a level of clarity about their body they've never had before.

This is therapeutic bodywork done the right way.
What Clients Say

"I have used many massage therapists in the last 20 years. Damien is the best. He frequently uses a massage style I have not experienced before and I have found it to be quite effective. His knowledge of the interrelationships of all the muscles is far beyond what I have ever encountered. Especially if you are an athlete, Damien can help you." — Google Review, Five Stars

"I don't even know where to begin! Damien is a miracle worker. I suffer from an injury that occurred to my left lower back several years ago and have never felt complete relief from it since. I try to workout regularly (which causes flare ups to the left side at times), stretch, and pay attention to my body but I somehow did something to my left side again just recently that has caused me to be in pain, even walk with a limp. I found Damien on a whim, and it was the best decision ever! Upon arrival he was very professional, he took 20 min to listen to my complaints, and asked me a series of questions and examined me before actually getting started. His attempts to try to figure out some relief for me was deeply appreciated. He gave me his hypothesis on what he thought was wrong and even pulled out anatomy charts etc showing/explaining why he came to that conclusion. Again, his professional manner and stand point were so appreciated. I want to add that I have been to doctors, chiropractors, & physical therapists due to my left side.. And while I came to see Damien for a new injury, I feel 1000% better overall, even just one day after seeing him. He pushed and prodded in uncomfortable places, but it was worth every bit of relief I feel right now. Everything he said I would feel, I felt. I drank the water he advised me to, I iced after the massage where he told me to, I have a follow up with him this week and couldn't be more thankful. I was living off of ibuprofen and prayers for something to help with this pain. I guess my prayers were answered. On top of ALL of that, you can't beat his prices. Looking forward to my next appointment!" — Yelp Review, Five Stars
